And if this thread was about Las Vegas season 2, that would be interesting. The find-dvd website you're plugging shows that The Wire Series 4 is £17.98 at amazon and HMV, and £25 at Asda.

My bad, you would have thought they would have put their address on the customer support or about us pages. Still, there isn't a number which would concern me, we were always taught to assess the safety for shopping with websites on three criteria, the contactability of the company, the established time of the website/domain and whether as a customer you were covered by usual sales of goods. As the company don't promote a customer phone number and are sending generic emails, that would just raise alarm bells that's all, particularly as people have waited longer than a couple of weeks now.

You are right, you are (fortunately) covered by paypal, but remember, your ability to claim for non delivery lapses 45 days after the transaction was charged. You just might want to keep an eye on how long has passed.

Don't believe them one bit, but just had an email back saying currently out of stock and expect them from supplie in 14 days.

So migh get them in a month then!

Depends if you can wait, if not buy them for the higher price. I am in no hurry (still getting through all the Xmas DVD's), so will wait.

I have used BangCD for years to buy CDs and never had a problem.

Also the wire is good but IMHO the sopranos is better.

I'm fine about this. I only heard about it because it was featured in the MSE mailout and I'm hardly surprised that they ran out of stock. The communications have been good though, and I'm quite happy to wait a few days.
