It's a not bad menu for the price (18.50). I'm having duck spring rolls, with sweet chilli dip and leaves, then kangaroo with parsnip crisps and potatoes etc and then chocolate mousse.

I'm not a fan of going out around now. I call it conveyor belt food time!

I know. Evans stuff is particularly awful at the moment. They seem to want to cater to the early 20's X-factor wannabee - the dresses in particular are the styles worn by the girls in the series, but they would just look appalling on someone over a size 14 or so.

As my mum would say - looking like a sack of spuds tied in the middle!

I'm not sure what is happening about drink - it's so early to be starting and lots will be driving from the office. I can see it just being a genteel evening fizzling out around 7 !

Afternoon all. Sorry I'm late,I've been out on a (not very successful) Xmas shopping trip. My DD (13) says there's nothing he wants for Xmas-I'm sure he'd have something to say if thats what he got! Feeling A LOT more cheerful today-yesterday was grim! DH sim session went well, apart from small !!!! up on the rejected take-off(forgot to press a button!)so hopefully todays will too,and he'll be in good mood when he gets back tonight-and thats it for him till Hong Kong on 2nd Jan! DD breaks up today,DS tomorrow lunchtime, then girls night out starting at 5.30 Sat....can't wait!!! Hope the drain man has been!!

oooooooh, i've missed out on the extra pre-christmas quidco payment by 1 day! I had £33 received yesterday and the run was yesterday as well. Oh well, I'll have to wait until the one at the end of the month.

Thanks Maz- kids took that of me in the lounge the other night-must try and get them to do a decent one as I look a bit nonplussed there!!

my hotelclub just came thru for manchester meet... which is nice, considering the meet hasn't happened yet..!
