OMG Im catching you up this year and I hope that I can still be trendyish at 33...
Its the paul Mckenna loose weight one, it just really stuck a cord with me, Ive always had a really bad relationship with food, either on a diet or stuffing my face. I just really want to find that happy medium like most people have and just eat without thinking about it! Anyway we shall see how it pans out I guess
you are a trendy babe, and no, i'm not really middle aged, only my boooobs are!
is that the one where you are supposed to think of the chocolate covered in fluff and tap on your head??I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

afternoon all. Bit pooped as I ended up being catering officer at work for 30 people. We had an awards 'thing' for some classes which did really well nationally and I've spent the morning up chopping peppers, stollen, celery etc for the lunch but it looked nice when done.
Living room may be looking lovely but there is still quite a bit of 'fallout' around the house, the hall in particular is still a mess with small bits of new carpet rolled up, ladders, broken TV (ahem) etc etc etc.
Had my self assessment statement and it seemed I ticked/unticked a box wrong this year. I asked for it to be divided up and then taken from my salaried tax next year but I ticked/unticked the wrong way and they've asked for it all in one go (just under £800 - eek!) so i've called and they are going to email the relevant department to ask if they can change it for me. Apparently they can't guarantee it though.........great. the wording is really odd and she said I wasn't the first and wouldn't be the last to get caught out - you'd think they would simplify it to 'do you want to pay this through your PAYE next year - yes or no'.......

Wish I could wear stuff like that Maz. I can't do anything shorter than elbow length as my arms are too horrific and it has to be swishing around my ankles!!
I absolutely dread the Christmas works dinner outfit buying task each year. It usually ends up stressful, expensive and something black that I never wear again. It's my 'do' tomorrow and luckily everyone goes in their work clothes as it is a weirdly early start of 3.30pm.
I'm having kangaroo
Edit: Just looked at Evans party wear stuff. Good job I don't have to buy something, it's all sleeveless, cropped length for the tops and knee length for the dresses, none of which suit me.
I mean - someone who is a size 12 could wear this (even though I think the print is vile!)

but dear god, anyone my size would look like an escaping truck of sacks of potatoes!

TBH it's probably not as short as the pic, probably on the knee and have black cardi at the ready to cover my bingo wings! and my tattoo of course, as wouldn't want it on show in front of work peeps....
i stopped myself from going down into M&Co, the only clothes shop in this little town (apart from charity shops!) as had convinced myself i needed a black shrug.. but i reseisted. have got 2 perfectly good identical black wear with anything cardi's so will ensure one of them is free from cat hair, BO and lunch stains and adopt one of them!
kangaroo???? how exciting.... if a little

Ooo yum. I used to go to a place in St Moritz that did kangaroo stew on Rosti. It was absolutely divine :drool:26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073
