*** Daily chat Thursday 18th December - sausage roll anyone?

Morning all :hello:
Typical isn't it. The first morning I can stay in bed and catch up on sleep and I'm wide awake at 5am for no apparent reason... Will have to squeeze a nap in later ;)

Planning to potter about tidying today, wrap what pressies I've bought so far and do laundry ready for jollies next week. Also need 2 lists - one of presents still to get and one of what I need to get for hospital bag for New Year.

happy one week to Christmas everyone

Morning Luc Hun, are you feeling any better this morning? I will pass on the sausage roll as they give me heartburn:D

Last day at work for me, college carol service followed by staff Christmas party then home for about 1.30pm.

Looks like both the boys will be off school today with this flu virus but still have to pick my little brother up from school so still not able to go for a drink with workmates:rolleyes:

Feeling a bit brighter thanks Lou.

I think the not even having to think about work has lifted some stress I didn't even know I was carrying which helps. Still feeling tired, headachy and itchy though. Will just dot about doing bits and bobs and have an easy day of it.

Fancy a vol au vent instead?

  • Morning everyone. Feel a bit crap here too but it's just tiredness I think. I made the mistake of having a half-hour lie-in - sometimes a little bit of extra sleep makes you feel worse than none  I was having a very weird dream about babysitting a group of teenagers and them rebelling against me :rotfl:

IA :grouphug: hope you feel a bit better soon sweetheart

Thanks. I'll be fine when I get over myself I suppose. Seriously considering lesbianism though. :(

  • morning all...............yawn..........left OH sleeping on the sofa last night as I just couldn't be bothered to do my normal wake him up, him get narky nightly routine and at 5.30 he got into bed which woke me up and then he got back up again 15 minutes later so I've been awake since then and feel like i've got a brick in my head. I only ever have water in the morning and I don't think the caffeine content of that is very high!!

Put the tree up last night and the room looks even more lovely and cosy.

Sorry you are feeling pants Sar -I guess the thing to think about lesbianism is that however !!!!!y a woman can be to a man, just think how bad it would be to be on the receiving end of that!!!! ;) I've always said - in my next life, I'm coming back as a nun or a lesbian........and as I'm as chaste as a nun these days (not by choice), I guess it will have to be a lesbian next time.....
