Got one of these £5 lovelies today!!!

They are really fantastic value for money. Even more so as i had £4.65 in whsmith clubcard points - from the £2.50 points voucher promotion - i had redemeed some already.

Anyway, paid the extra 35p and walked away with a very nice folder and a big smile!!!

    Thanks guys - great spot!!

When you say 'art folder' do you mean a sketch pad or a carry folder etc? whatever it is, sounds like a good deal.

I couldn't believe my luck when I went in to my local WH Smith in Exeter, and went to purchase a David and Goliath A4 ringbinder, for it's stickered price of 49p...

But that's not it.....I took it up to the till with a couple of other things and the binder came up at 1p! I took another to a different till but they wouldn't let me buy it so I took it to the same till as the first and got it for 1p...The moral of the story is; 'Don't give up!'

I'm not sure whether there is a problem with the tills or whether you may have a similar experience in other stores but - GRAB IT WHILE YOU CAN!!!

Good luck and let me know how you get on!

My kind of bargain! Looks like a trip to WH Smith's tomorrow. 49p is cheap so hopefully they may have reduced more things in the David and Goliath range. My niece just loves David and Goliath!
CHEAP IN COST NOT IN STYLE...

Or, if you live in manchester, go to the ground floor admin office of the John Dalton Building, Manchester Metropolitan University.

They are giving away free ring binders, lever arch files, paper separators and plastic wallets after a move to a different office or something. There were hundreds of them last friday, so probably plenty left, what with term drawing to an end.
Aimed at the students, but I highly doubt they'd ask you to prove your ID.
