    so up to now excellent:j

I'm in the same position - activation due 24 December.
  • i have been with them for a few weeks now great service and my speed has gone from 2mb to 6mb
there is a rumor that they will give it to you for 7-50 if you have a freind or familly on 02
remember it is nice to be important
but more important to be nice ;)
  • Ive had o2 home broadband since it came out, so just over a year now.

And for £7.50 a month it makes you wonder how good could it possibly be, well in my 12 months it has been reliable, cheap, and on the 1 occasion i rung the helpline the guys were helpfull and easily understood..wots more even the helpline is free.

I do wonder if o2 has turned into a charity or a non-profit organisation with these low charges, but from a consumer point of view this is the best broadband provider ive ever had...ive tried aol, bt and breathe before

Now im sure someone must of had a bad experience with o2, but the thing is your more lickely to read bad things on the net about a provider than good.

that site lets u compare providers by customers ratings, based on speed, reliability and customer service.

The only gripe you can have with the broadband is not getting the maximum speed, but the speed you get is based on how long your phone line is from the exchange. i am quite a few miles from my exchange and hence i can only get 3mb, not the maximum 8mb service. But in saying that the 3mb is still better than what i got with aol and that was costing me 3 times the price.
