WELL i might still go or what i wil do is make my friend go coz she lives near and her car works!!! and then she can tel me to be honest the 2 guys i spoke 2 did not even sound like they were even on this planet really they sounded confused. I knew about this yesterday but didn't get round to posting about it.

It's definitely true. My friend works at ASDA and spent most of yesterday marking down gifts in the storeroom.

He said all the £5 gifts were £1, and all the £10 gifts were £2 and that it starts at 9am tomorrow HTH! xxxx

Items online are now showing as £1, but one little problem.......even though they are £1 its still wanting full price

they're all showing as out of stock so what i imagine they'll do is at 9am, when the sale starts, they'll take all the out of stock signs off and let people start ordering at the right price

When I look in my basket, it's adding the difference to make the items 2 for £8.

It's totalled the items to £7 and then it says discount promo 2 for £8 - £12
Total £19 :rotfl:

Please note its not online according to OP on HDUK.
The computers update at 5am so it may be at that time for 24hr shops or opening time for others.

It may not be marked down but will scan correctly

So hold on wait now the times have changed @first it was 7.30 am then it changed to the computers update @ 5 so after 5 things will be on the system @ reduced price now its gone to 9 am

I have no idea why someone posted 9am

The OPs store is not 24hrs - so he said when his stores open
Someone else asked about 24hr stores and the reply was the new system will be in place at 5am
