My nearest big Asda is slap bang in the middle of one of the most expensive areas in the city, I don't think I've ever seen any tracksuit wearers in there. As for my local Tesco.. it's like watching an episode of Jeremy Kyle while you stock up on your cornflakes

Their free range eggs are good value.

Heinz beans & tinned toms are the same wherever you shop. Same for Quaker oaks, kelloges cornflakes, PG tips, ETC ECT.

I like their prepared salads & fresh fruit salads.

My local Asda is a 24hr store - just wondering if people are likely to go really early, load up their trolleys and wait till 7.30am to put them through the tills. Hmmm... don't know what time to go!!!

Apparently the Asda system gets updated at 5am, so won't the prices be available from 5am at 24hr stores?

This is just a quote; I dont know if its right.

even if your local store hasnt done the label changes they will still scan through the till at the reduction-the whole system updates at 5am so anything you arent sure about just get it scanned to see-our store only has 2 people doing price changes for the whole store so it can be late afternoon before they get from one end of the store to another.
