Great minds think alike! I'm just off to H&B too, christmas is stressful enough without waiting to see if something will get reduced or not and then the worry of whether you will get it or not! :eek:

By going to H&B though I am virtually guaranteeing they will reduce the sets and there will be shelves full tomorrow when I go in. :rolleyes::rotfl:

Been to asda at huddersfield and bought 1 4 bottle + wine holder was charged £7.34. Not sure wether it would be reduced further for buying 2

I'm not a regular Asda shopper (its the 3rd furthest supermarket away from my house) but I noticed today that my nearest Asda is opening at one minute past midnight tonight (ie earliest Monday morning). There is nothing in the 2 for £16 range reduced there today (I've just got back). So going on what was said about the reductions on Wednesday, the reduced prices will be after 5am - is that correct?

I'm hoping to get there tomorrow before I go to work, and get some bargains - I just couldn't manage to get anywhere near an Asda on Wednesday at all.

want to know if its worth keeping hubby up until midnight and sending him or if it wont be done and i need to get him up at send him at 6.

oh and these toilettries,make up,alcohol gift sets we are all getting excited about will they be £1 and £2 like the gifts the other day or are we all getting too excited,lol

I don't think it will be worth waiting til midnight - several people have mentioned that their systems don't update til 5am, so get him to bed now in anticipation of an early morning!

i very much doubt it will be a head office price change, it will have to be actioned on the telxon gun instore. This usually (at least in the stores i have experience of) wont be until 6am.

Also i havent heard anything about the gift sets going down any time before christmas, with all the reductions on the others all 99% of stores have left is the booze/H&B sets and we want to get as much as possible for these. There has been nothing about them on the instore intranet system (unless it came down today, and i would have hoped to get a txt if it had happened) and for something this big we would expect a bit of notice to plan more people into work. This is all just my thoughts however so dont take it as gospel, but IF there are reductions 2mo i would expect it not to happen until at least 6am.
