I've had such a fab day today I had to tell you about it: ocasionally I wake up and just know my body is working right today, so we went for it and walked the seven sisters ( cliffs often featured in pictureque photos of south coast.) As you can see the day was glorious and the pic shows the route we walked(up and down a lot as far as you can see):
To keep this on topic: we did take a picnic:D and it was free exercise and fresh air.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
What a beautiful picture BB, you are lucky to stay near such a nice place. Not much to report today, no spending so that was good. Just done a jewellery party so am tired and off to bed.
Nite nite. Will check in tomorrow. xx0 -
Hi everyone:hello:
Haven't posted for ages, but am keeping up wiv the challenge:j Bails what breed's the pup?I bet it's running rings round you;)"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

Mr DT - Thankyou for that, I did save the image as a jpeg, have re-done it as a png and it is much better :jWe must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0

BB, that is such wonderful news about yesterday and I know what a fantastic achievement it was :T You gotta love days like that :j
She's a border collie Candy - sorry still no pic peeps, working on it - and she is full of energy, not least because she's never been for a walk  Roll on Thursday and freedom :rotfl:

Just had a nosey round some other threads to see what else is there. But I'll definitely stay here, some are outright depressing. In one savings thread some one in his mid-20s ask if it is a lot to have saved 20k by his age or should he have moreDEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250

Hi guys
No word on the eggs yet, just patiently waiting to see if there's any movement over the next couple of days but not holding my breath as it's first lot of the year and they did take a bit of abuse before going into the incubator and also once in there with the temperature fluctuation. I have more to go in at the weekend
Lovely pic BB, I've been to Beachy Head a few times and get a warped pleasure out of lying looking over the edge - it does have that 'drawing you over' feeling, no wonder they have to keep an eye on the area. I think I first saw it in Quadraphenia, the old mods & rockers movie.
Bails, good luck with the job, if it's perfect for you then there's no way it'll pass you by(Hello puppy  )
Got a few extra pounds into the kitty today but still not enough to completely neutralise my other (frugaldom garden project) spending. :rotfl:Cashback should cover it once that clears, though. :T
Got some repotting and sowing to do today, 'Big Jim' is in bad need of a larger pot as his roots are now growing through the bottom of his pot!The buds are developing into peppers but they'll never grow if I don't give them more space. He's a big pepper plant!
I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.

It's depressing when you're in your mid twenties and in order to buy a house you're looking to save much more than thatHaving savings isn't a 'luxury' these days really.

Shaz - if my understanding of the ESA is correct, then there are two 'types'. One is contributions based, and one is income based. If you're on the contributions based then I doubt you'd qualify (this is a replacement for Incapacity Benefit, and I didn't qualify for any of these types of grants while on that), but if you're on income based then you should qualify the same as someone on Income Support.Cheryl0
