Mumzy you need to get checked out by doctor or And E if you are having such pain etc, have you any idea when you could have injured back/neck?

I know I do. NHS direct told me to go to a and e yesterday with my ribs but i didnt go because i cant manage 2 children in a hopsital and no one was free to watch them. So same goes for today. The pain goes from my left side of my neck right down to my back and right side of neck when i move my neck or arm. Ive been sat here most of day. DD is alsleep so going to wake her because she wont sleep tonight. I only have another 3 hrs and hopefully they will go to sleep.

Edited : dont know how ive done it. Just woke with it. Just weird how yesterday i had pain in my ribs and today thats gone and i have it in my back/neck

Cool, I think that's wise - having been burnt myself I would never pool all our money, despite OH's loveliness. Some people on the 'how do you manage joint finances' thread think this is crazy but we like it this way. Do you get to spend a little of it?;)
No snow here, beautiful sun and blue sky, if very cold.

I can spend some if I want to just don't know if there is anything I really want at the moment.
DD needs a new laptop as hers has started overheating on a regular basis so may treat her other than that no ideas:rolleyes:

Well, after seeing the shocking amount of interest I was charged for o/d I reluctantly transferred a massive chunk of my savings to pay it off. I know it's the right thing to do as it'll save about £250+ a year, but it has really dented my deposit  .

Anyway, we've got some snow here, but it seems to have stopped for the moment. It looks like I'll be wearing my snowboots to work tomorrow :D.

mumsyof2 - do you have a wheat sack you can put round your neck or a hot water bottle? It may ease the pain a little. If it does get any worse then go to the hospital.

Mumzy - please go and get yourself checked. In order to look after your children you also need to look after yourself

SM - Lovely news about the cheque. It must be nice too for your dad to know that you have a rainy day fund set up, especially these days

I have spent most of today batch cooking for the week ahead. Have soup and bread to make tomorrow but other than that I'm done. Also nipped to the shops for some fresh fruit/veg so I have enough in if the weather gets really bad to last me a good few days. OH blew the budget today as he needed photo paper to do DS2 passport photos. £24 for 40 sheets:mad:  Need to check out some cheap sources and get a stock I think!

Will spend tomorrow on mass clean and doing some paperwork I think, especially with the weather forecast

    Evening All!

I'm feeling very organised at the moment. I'm a week into 'February', have houseful of food, and loads of money left (not like me at all - it's usually gone by now!).

I went to the bank yesterday to see if i could open a second account, and before i had finished asking the question, she said 'You mean a bills account? Come with me'. Ten minutes later it was all sorted, and i am now the proud owner of a new bank account!! :rotfl: My intention is to transfer my 4KYr budget for the month to the new account, and when it's gone, it' gone; meanwhile the bills all pay themselves, and what's left over saves to a nice bonus at birthday / Christmas time. Does anyone else do it like that? does it work?

Anyway, I've had a child-free day of painting DD's bedroom, and i'm looking forward to the rest of the month. Oh! And it's snowing, so i might get a day off tomorrow! YAY!!

CAT - just read your post - can you get to a poundland / similar? They have photopaper there, also I think it may be cheaper in supermarkets??
Oh for Goodness' Sake!! Here we go again :(
Total debt £4,839.51 (Still adding it up though :( )
    Now : £4, 759.81
