    Janey,

My brother is kind and nice-looking (so I'm told), mid-thirties....but a bit far from Scotland.

    Hello,

OMG, I have finally finished my accounts and filed tax return. Going to write 100 times: I won't leave these thigs at the last minute anymore, I won't leave these things at the last minute... Anyway I should be getting £932.92 back so not bad for days work (plus couple of evenings in summer when I started working on it and then ).

I have some nice Indian takeaway waiting in the kitchen and a bottle of Irish cider in the fridge so hoping to get DD to bed asap so that I can settle down to enjoy them. Need to check Radiotimes website to find out if there is anything worth watching tonight.

So logging off shortly after DD finished her snack, wishing you the best of Friday evening and catch up again tomorrow.

And regrettably, still a little young :D unless he likes Joanna Lumley who I have been told I look like...and I am a bit younger :D
  • Well done marru - cant rem if I said yesterday!! Hugs jenay even if its not the kind you want...one of the only things I miss from being single is my own man hugs so know in some ways how you feel...can I suggest a cat as a loving substitute although doesnet quite do the job!! Youve got me thinking on metal detector...totally unrelated to man hugs or owt else lol!!
bails re the hound...I know if you are anything like me if someone says no then the heels dig in and heart rules over sence but would agree with cw that baby dogs/cats very like babies and need mummies with them in the same way...can you bear to wait for another while settled.Dogs can also be an issue with babies/young children and canbe quite jealous of new arrival (being used to mummy and daddy to themselves!) although sheep dogs can be very protective/mothering...anyway sure you will do what you want!! know I am hopeless saying no to pets!
70p spends for me today and must get red bull as keep buying it and its more expensive than a multi pack...needed the boost today...
great news re houses etc...good luch re job L and sure the new suit will make you feel more confident!

Blimey Janey, a younger Joanna Lumley :T I'm sure there are loads of lovely frugalites out there :D Sending you hugs too.

    Enjoy your celebration Marru!

Got to go as being called for dinner, have a nice evening and catch up tomorrow.

I have just seen an advert for a Provident Visa card and the APR on it is 182.9% *falls over* I watched the ad 3 times just to make sure it was not my eyes.

 couldn't believe they'd advertise such a thing, but I've found it on the 'net using Google. The payments are collected weekly at your door, so they'll no doubt claim it's paying for 'a service' that's not provided by others !!!!

ETA: they're calling it a pre-paid debit card, but I can't see how they get away with that as it also says you can borrow as much or as little of your agreed loan as you want and make repayments each week

Blairweech, I was thinking about trying to get our electricity bill down recently, and came up with loads of stuff like putting my laptop on power saver mode and switching it off on the wall at night and during the day. Unfortunately though I live with five other guys who aren't quite as frugal as me! So the little changes don't make as much of a difference, though it is handy to be sharing bills.

Janey - no suggestions for chaps in Scotland, but hey, if there are any spare lovely men near Brighton, 40yrs up, I could do with a cuddle too, the last one I met with for a drink has now told me he's actually married "but living separate lives" (purlease, what does he think I am!!). I look nothing like Joanna Lumley though, bit more Dawn French these days (diet still not going well, lol)

Please don't feel you're being disloyal to DH though, he sounded like a gorgeous cuddly man and I believe would want you to receive many more cuddles. Take it easy with the vino and the offer of DD is still there, she keeps me going!
