Just popping in to catch up before the thread runs away!! Hello people who are also on Weezles thread - lovely to "see" familiar people when a newbie!! Lol re the dating...if I had a pound for every time I've been told "you never know who'se just round the corner" in the ;ast decade I'd be loaded and my siggy would be in credit!! Totally agree with having a fulfilled life and it mattering less...I am happily single - lovely man would be the icing on the cake but can manage without (& pay the man who can when I cant!!)...**
Anyway had a lovely monring being pampered c/o mum - facial, hot stones and reflexology - bliss untl the poor girl overheated and almost passed out!! Bless her she was very apologetic whilst white as a sheet!
Got a few things shopping so will update spending/figures diary later and also got 30 cash out - 20 groceries and 10 to live on (I hope) until pay day on 20th....having to get used to asking for recipts again! Going to have a go with my chicken brick tonight...50p bargain from car boot in the summer! Hugs for those who need them (sorry still getting names) and esp for P whose MIL went to hospital - totally understand why you have to shop then - sometimes money just isnt the top priority!
Oh yes also meant to say for people re the pet discussion...burns pet food is great - more expensive than cheapie stuff but vet designed and you use less so less "waste" for those with hounds and I've noticed a huge difference in the condition of the cats coat (one used to have terrible dandruff but no more!) since I used it plus on the frugal side they will send you a free sample...linky here for you re info etc - would def recc it!

This post could take some time as I have another 5 pages to read, but I'll update it as I go and that will save me forgetting everything. :rotfl:
Penny, I went through t0pca$hback and used a site called Cr0cus. They are offering up to 10% cashback and have a sale on at the moment. If anyone wants the codes I used for extra 20% off, just PM me.

Afternoon everyone.i'm really enjoying reading all your aims and aspirations for this coming year.Kids have gone to their dads after I filled them with HM soup.Sent some with then too
I'm of to a party at sis house tonight.Belated new year party.DS is coming home from his dads to join me but leaving DD there so I can have some fun.i already have wine in fridge left from xmas and sis is providing food so thats me sorted.Kids dad will sort lunch for them tomorrow then we are off to my mums for tea.Free food yippee!
I had some direct debits leave my account so I'm going to update my spending diary.I've decided not to keep a total tally of all my grocery ect spends as this was my downfall last year.I got too obsessed and really upset if money went unaccounted for when i misplaced receipts. This year I have £75 per week for groceries/clothes amd other items.i will take this out ona Thursday and once it's gone it's gone.I'm hoping that i can infact save some and will be emptying into a jar at the end of each week.i had thought I'd put it into my sealed pot but decided against it incase I wanted to use it for stockpilling on good bogof offers or I need to buy kids new clothes or something.I may put it into sealed pot monthly though if I do have any left.
I am working on a budget of £4000 plus child benefit.i need to go rejig though as I got a letter about child benefit increase from 5th January. An extra £1 odd a week.i'm so happy.Even that amount is a welcome addition to my budgetlost my way but now I'm back ! roll on 2013
