Sounds good to me! Don't forget about any loan or other payments that you don't receive statements for.DMP mutual support thread No: 2430

I am sure they will not all be that nice but pleased the first one was, now to call the others !!!
Can't believe how much better i feel about things now a plan is in action, like a weight off my shoulders....DMP No: 293Light bulb moment 1st April 2009Debt free date: 2015 (fingers crossed) :T0 -
Hi All
Quiet here at the moment. The phone calls have more or less stopped:eek:and the letters have dried up. Quite a few just dont seem to be bothering to acknowledge DMP at all.
A question for any of you with the co-op basic account do any of you have a savings account linked to this? If so what is it called and how do I apply ?

I have applied for the Smartsaver account online. The application for whatever reason wasn't received. So I phoned up and the nice lady did the application over the phone. A week or so later and the account appears on my online banking account. A few days after that and I receive my paperwork.
It's all good so far. Ok the interest rate isn't all that but at least you can put some money aside easily enough.DMP mutual support thread No: 2430 -
I had my first phonecall from Egg at the weekend asking for payment and it's not even overdue yet, they're not happy the direct debit was cancelled. I explained that I was setting up a DMP with CCCS and they should hear from them soon. He then said something about yes we've accepted their payment offer but I think he was getting confused with my token payment I sent. I guess I just have to wait now as I'm still waiting to hear back from CCCS that everything is set up. If the creditors accept the token payments does that mean they generally accept the DMP ?0

Hi guys hoping for bit of help. Have started my dmp, well not exactly started but my first payment is due to leave my bank on 30th April with payplan. They have written to all my creditors to get updated balances and i have sent them all of token payments which have been cashed. Now my problem is this:
I have 2 pay day loans, one with quickquid for £150 and other with paydayuk for 240. Not overly huge amounts but big enough to me. I didnt add them to dmp cos decided i would pay them off myself before dmp started at end of this month. But i realistically cant pay them off and would like them to be added to dmp. How do i go about this? And im panicking about them contacting my employer etc. One of them comes out direct debit so i will cancel it but the paydayuk one i had to give my debit card details so they will auto take it out next tues but how could i cancel that. Im very scared of adding these loans cos really only got them in mid feb and knew i would struggle to pay them back but they were my only option at the time.
Any advice much appreciated thanks0 -
Hi Louise,
Personally I would speak to Payplan and tell them, they may put your start date back to the end of May, giving you time to pay the Payday loans back. We are with Payplan and have always found them very good to deal with.
