As far as I'm aware you won't have a start date until you send back the contract to CCCS - I sent letters to creditors advising a start date in April, and my CCCS agreement started then too. I would suggest that if you want to leave the start date til June that you send the form back to them as early in May, this way it gives them time to process the form and send you back your confirmation so you can set up a DD to pay them.

    Hope this helps :D
Thanks for your help, so would I be able to still send the letters out & 31 token payments to my creditors (a couple of paymenbst are due soon) this month, but then send the letter back to CCCS a bit later?

Please read the important message below.

    [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Dear *****
As it's a condition of your Egg Loan agreement to have a Direct Debit in place to make repayments to your account, you'll need to set up a new Direct Debit immediately to make sure future payments are made.

Please call us now on the above number to set up a new Direct Debit instruction.

We're aware that you have other accounts with Egg. We can also review your other Direct Debit instructions when you call.

If you're unable to set up a Direct Debit on the account used to repay your Egg Loan, you need to call our Collections Department immediately on 08456 000 296 to discuss alternative arrangements.

Good Luck to eveyone who started the DMP yesterday, hope you enjoyed your party:beer: Mine starts on 1st May.

Have a question I have 2 creditors that have come on board, Abbey credit card and Next but the thing is they have both stated on their letters a certain date that they wish to recieve payment which is different to the CCCS date. What do I do ignore this or do I have to make calls? Has this happened to anyone else?

Also had a nasty letter from Sainsbury loan today saying we are in arrears of 2 months and they they are applying charges, no mention of DMP or token pyt just a request for money. DO I just ignore this also?? Thats the thing you are never quite sure of what to do with these scarey letters.

Just write to them with your DMP reference or reply with it through the online messaging. Try not to worry, Egg were very persistent with me and sent the full range of threatening letters including one saying it had been sold to a DCA (It hadn't). But after 3 months of regular DMP payments they accepted my reduced payment.

If the creditors have already accepted, it may be worth giving them a call just to explain that CCCS make their payments around the 25th of each month, they are normally OK with that. I think its actually mentioned in the letters that CCCS send out to them. Just give CCCS a call if you need further clarification

Sainsburys can be difficult. I have a CC with them and I've been getting letters + phonecalls too. You could call them and remind them of the DMP. I just did this today with Sainsburys and they were quite understanding. Again just contact CCCS if you are worried about anything. Thats what they're there for. :)

Not heard anything today and my payments for my 2 loans should have come out today...does this mean I am lucky and they are accepting my plan straight away or does it mean that it will take them a few days to realise the direct debit has been cancelled....?

I am assuming they will have received CCCS plan from them by now as they sent it on the 25th and I sent my personal notification forms to everyone on Monday. I know as these companies are so big though things probably take ages to get looked at.

My stomach lurches every time the phone rings I hate it!!!

Received two letters today from Debt Collectors. A Blair Oliver & Scott one dealing with my IF debt (haven't rung them yet), and a hilarious one from Wescot Credit Services (dealing with my highest CC debt with Halifax) in big red writing asking me to phone to arrange payment or other. Spoke to them and the chap was fine, just need to send Financial statement and offer to them through PayPlan. They also offered me an FnF.

So it's not all bad. And I'm off now till Tuesday. Woop!!! A long lie in tomorrow (I've worked 17 8-9 hour days on the trot), then out on the bike in the afternoon for a ride in the countryside. :)

    Hi Icecube,

I think they are a bit quicker, MrsG2b has been offered a managed loan straight away - new policy?

Had a phone call of a very surprised Metropolitan this afternoon, they've received a payment from the CCCS, they were just confirming that I was on a DMP, they were requesting budget information, which CCCS are sending direct.
