Yes assets tied up in business premises, therefore not liquid, and cannot sell premises or I would not have a job, and really do not want to, or are able to in this time, to secure debt against it.. thank you all

    Hi there,

Not actually sure how to do this or if I am in right place:confused: I've been loiterig for months now and have just plucked up the courage to log on!!

Me and my OH have been battling debts for forever now and join CCCS last Jan...can honestly say that was the best nights sleep I have ever had!!

Would love to get involved in this support network cos it seems so hard to do this alone and am sure some of you are trying to hide this from family and friends too..;)

Debts currently stand at about 45K:eek: and am paying £456 a month, hoping that when I sort out my SOA someone may have a glance and pass on some advice as want this over with asap!

Please point me in the rught diredtion if I am miles off and would like to say...so glad to not be alone anymore!:j

    Hi Emmylou:D

You are SO in the right place, the more the merrier I say!:j

Well done for starting your DMP, was it Jan just gone or Jan last year?

Not sure if this is the 'right' place to post your SOA, but I'm sure if you stick it up, someone will come along and soon let you know.

Stick with us though for your DMP journey and don't be nervous about posting anymore, or if your spelling is bad, lol!:rotfl:

    MD xx
Finally brave enough to deal with my debts! :D

Hey there EmmyLou,welcome to the family!

It is a great place to come and vent, share or just have a friendly natter. This board has proven invaluable to me and I am sure I speak for all here.

    Thanks for the welcome guys,

DMP began Jan 2008, still in the process of fighting off HSBC calls, they want me to sign up for a managed loan....all advice points the other way though! Going to court for 2nd time next week,:eek:Not as bad as I thought it would be, the lady from nationwide was lovely (and really helpful)!

Fortunately all credit card people are being nice...it's just the loans that are causing me headaches:( but hey, it's gonna get there eventually.... right!!

  • Hi emmylou it's alwys good to hear from people who're making progress with their DMPs :)

I'm having an exhausted/overwhelmed day today - the default has really thrown me. I spoke to CCCS today (DMP was supposed to start in March ... then April ... now May) there are yet more delays & I'm so worried we're going to end up in court before we get a chamce to try & sort things out :(
