what about contacting national debtline or payplan, simply for advice if you can't get through to cccs??
Has your other half asked about keeping the pay the same? have you spoken to the tax credit people? it seems ridiculous to me that they remove it without first checking the circumstances of the receiver!!
Sorry, not sure what else to suggest!! But i think you need to speak to someone who might know for sure!!DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 261Debt at start of DMP (Jan 2009) = 46,147.86 Now = 36,826.98DFD = [STRIKE]Jan 2014[/STRIKE] May 2013 ([strike]60[/strike] [STRIKE]52[/STRIKE] 41 payments to go)NSD:Nov 12/12:jDec 9/10 Jan 5/10Slowly but surely:coffee:0 -

have not managed to get in touch with cccs all day and now dont know what to do as previously said our dmp was half way to being arranged and now realised we are losing £318a month income from april and our dmp payment was meant to be £298 so cant pay anyhthing.
cant see a way out as we cant afford to pay our creditors and now cant even do our dmp

I have had my final pack through from cccs telling me that our dmp is set up and the first payment is due on the 1st of may! I have already sent my token payments for february along with my dmp notification. All cheques have been cashed. I have had late payment and overlimit fees on both barclaycards (b******s) but havent heard anything from anyone else, YET! lol. I think things will hit the fan at the beginning of march as dd's are due on the 30th for loan. I honestly cant see halifax accepting £50 instead of thier usual £185, but time will tell! You are all an inspiration and its great to know im not alone. Keep posting everyone!
love,

Hi - do u mind me asking have you chosen may as your first payment or is this what CCCS have advised (i'm really sorry i cant remember if you posted about delaying payment, i know someone did..) i just wondered cause i've recently sent our info off to CCCS but was hoping for an April start.
thanks msc xxDMP Support Member 254. LBM 20/1/2009DMP though CCCS starting 01.04.2009Debt Free date March 2015 but would love to be there for OH's 40th in 2014.0 -
hi, i have chosen may, they originally wanted me to start in april. Just ask they are really nice. They should be fine about it if the delay is because of priority bills etc. Our delay is due to our mot bill. glad to help!

Hi - its very tempting to delay as it will just add to our emergency fund but we will have sent token payments for feb and march and as we dont 'really' have a priority payment like you it guess it would be foolish to put it off any longer. I'm just glad to get it all sorted and i'm patiently waiting for access to my CCCS online info now xxxxDMP Support Member 254. Thankyou Loopylu, will add your post to my pile of "posts to read when I'm having a down day"! Glad things are getting better for you now x
Agree re "what did I spend it on?". Can't believe I don't have a huge pile of super luxury goods that can flog on ebay to clear the debt..! Did I eat it all?Oink oink!!!

Loopylu - just wanted to say thank you so much for your post. I know I'm not on my own when I say that you have now reassured so many of us.
We are likely to be facing a Charging Order in 6 months time from RBS as they want £500 a month instead of the £100 they are getting at the moment. Although I said in an earlier post that I wasn't going to worry about it just yet, well that's been easier said than done. It's always at the back of my mind during the day and seems to push its way to the front at bedtime when I'm trying to get some much needed sleep!
Anyway my point is - after reading your post I feel so much more positive about it. We haven't got it so they can't have it and if they do go for one so be it! Our youngest son is 10 this year so if they decide they want to go for a forced sale then I am assuming that no Judge in the land will order that until he is at least 16 by which time we will hopefully have been able to increase our DMP payments.
Thank you again.:T
