Luc I had a couple of doctor's notes for just general fatigue when I had NO energy and just needed to rest so they should be pretty easy-going on that score... maybe a bit of time to yourself will help, especially before the Christmas rush.
I don't know what the problem is, we are getting on great and things are SOOOOO much better than 6 months ago, it's a bit like we've fallen in love again... some of it is so perfect... but I think I am more family orientated and he is more relationship orientated.

Oh I don't know. Still not gone for that coffee. Might make it a hot chocolate and a cake instead.0 -

DD lots of men are freaked out by the idea of being responsible for 2 kids. They seem to see it as an added pressure and expense.
The old how will we cope?:heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0 -
You're probably right, jinks. And it's not something I dont' worry about either, but I figure going from 1 to 2 cannot be harder than going from 0 to 1? Can it? we went into crisis a bit when DS was first born. It was a lousy horrible time. But we are experienced now and know what we're in for, then there's the whole labour and birth, well that was obviously new. I don't think it would be easy by any means but the baby years seem such a short time that a few years hard slog would pay off.
I have my reservations, MANY of them but I think they are all pretty shallow or able to be easily overcome.
But I am not going to try and convince him, his feelings are valid, it just hurts.0 -
Good morning all and hugs to DD, Jinky and Luc!
I am having a mad cleaning day today!
I've already cleared out dd's colouring shelves; chucked all the scribbled on sheets in the recycling bin and sorted the paper into colours!
I have (fingers crossed) my last hospital test on Friday but I'm on a very strict diet for 3 days before it. I can only eat white rice, white meat/fish, white bread, pasta, rich tea biscuits and drink water....BOO!
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
Mornin all- quite a few of us down in the dumps today hey?
Not sure why but I just wanna crawl into a corner n cry till someone tempts me out-wish I knew why I'm feelng so low..wonder if I need to change pills maybe as I had a phase of 3-4 days las month like this too-anyone got any experience of this out there?? My head feels like it's stuffed with cotton wool and I've no motivation for Christmas.....sorry to hear Jinks and Luc not good either...if I knew how to do the dodgy hugs thing I would...
PS...Earl Grey for me every time...or coffee with a slug of Baileys....Debt-free...and staying that way...0 -
Ooh Linda that is bloody strict. Thank god for the rich tea biscuits in your list! Will you be able to make up for it all at the weekend/next week?
SRM :grouphug: you sound like a woman in need of a holiday. This time of year is tough on it's own with just the frantic-ness of December and everyone expects you to run like a duracell bunny, non-stop go-go-go! When sometimes you just need to lay on the sofa in your pj's and not move all day...0 -
But maybe he is thinking "god it was bad for us last time, what will happen this time?"daphne_descends wrote: »You're probably right, jinks. Have you both seriously sat down and discussed these things?
Maybe if you share your worries he will share his....worth a try i think.
Us women always have a we can manage we have to .....men just seem to go        we shall never manage:rolleyes:
When me and EX talked about having another all i got was " no money,no space,no this,no that"
but to me they were all things we could have fairly easily worked round....but it never did happen and now i am resigned to having no more:o
I think if you dont sit down and talk about it you will both start to resent each other.
Just my 2p worth
