About 30 minutes duration, started about 20 minutes late. Didn't talk too much at all, just answered questions, and when I tried talking more, he just wanted to move on. It was just 1 bloke, he was quite old and quite frail, looked like he was going to fall over at any second.0 -

Good luck Pete.
It did say in the waiting area, appointments can be from 20-60 minutes, and 4 in 5 people will be seen within 10 minutes, but I was one of the 1 in 5 people that had to wait longer.0 -

and always focus on the things you CAN'T do... do NOT, talk about how you've adapted or you will lose out. i know someone that worked for dla and she said this is how they catch you out, if they think you can even remotely look after yourself or what have you then you'll get nothing :mad:founder of Frugal Genius UK (Yahoo Groups)0 -

and now with thsi new labour thing theyre gonna be even more like coppers trying to get you off to work even if youre not mentally fit, im much better now than i used to be but im not all there yet and if i had to go back to a full-time job right now 6 months down the line id be back in hospital!:T The best things in life are FREE! :T0 -
Well probably I feel that even saying you have a computer will go against anyone in assessement for incapacity benefit. Having a computer in their eyes may come across as you are "with it" and not as bad as you are making out0

Let us know how it went OK0
