  • Thursday 12th February...33 days to go

Off to bed soon as I have been on nights. Been having a bit of a wobble lately and have had feelings of dread, failure and inadaquacy (Sp). I am sure these will pass but I think I have had too long to think about it now and just want it to get here

Hope you all have a nice day and dont have too much hassle

    Night Night Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Hmm they sound familiar, I think most people here have gone through what your feeling right now I know I did & somedays still do that & people say my stubborness is a man thing!!....problem with making a decision on bankruptcy is once you decide your feelings seem to be like a rollercoaster.....even the day in court was a bit of a let down once everythings done....BUT these feelings will go away eventually they like everything else take time....i've been BR nearly 2yrs now & still somedays the feelings of being a faliure hit me like a truck

Your no meens a faliure though you deserve a pat on the back for taking the right steps to tackling a long term debt problem

    I'll stop whittering now :D

  • ive been feeling the same way too but then i convince myself most days that im a failure! I quite often make a black joke about being successful at being a failure. The silly thing is since ive made the decision to go BR,ive felt much better than i have for a long time, apart from the occasional feeling of guilt about not paying anyone anything since christmas. So chin up matey, its getting there slowly and in the words of high school musical 'we're all in this together' la la la la

Mil is happier as we dont have to rely on her as much now and she gets a lye in the mornings (alright for some eh)
trying to stick to my budget but the spedo keeps cutting out on the car and read zero when your obviously zooming down the motorway and the heating in the car doesnt seem to be working anymore
Got some stuff to sort out for the or and got to get onto reclaiming my and hubby bank charges they may pay out now that ive gone bankrupt may class as finicial hardship even though if they do half of it has to go to or but im not bothered about that as feeling a little guilty about not being able to pay creditors anything - huubys half will prob go to sorting out the car and the mot, tyres, tax thats due june (if it gets sorted by then)

Thanks for the above messages guys really appreciate it :T . Seem to have days like this but have to give myself a good talking to cheer myself up. It works and reading the messages help a great deal

At work and it has been snowing. Looks lovely but causes chaos  Nothing to report regarding financial situation as no nasty letters in post or horrible calls on my answer phone so chugging along nicely on the BR express and nearing the platform shortly.

Hope you have all had nice dreams and I will catch up tomorrow

    4...Argos......... 0 Pts (0 letters , 0 calls)
    5...Egg............ 0 Pts ( 0 letters, 0 calls)

So Halifax now move joint 2nd due to the call earlier this week. Missed it though as I was in bed due to night shift :D

  • Hi ym,

Funny that - the hit parade for creditor contact.
My only "bug" is Abbey .... two or three calls a week now, all are told I am BR and they themselves have told me that I am BR.
It is getting on my wick now and I am going to ask the OR on Monday to tell them to burger off!! Have a good weekend ym....

  • Monday 16th February...29 days to go

Under a month to go now and the time is wizzing around. Really need to get my forms sorted as I am still on 90% and need to knuckle down so that is the plan within the next couple of weeks.

Postie brought another letter from Halifax and it looks like Argos have sold it on as I had a letter from Moorcrofts debt recovery " Pre court division " asking for the balance and adding on £12 for the pleasure. Feel a bit part of it now I have a DCA chasing me ;) and if I did not read this forum and now who these people are and the power they do not weald I would be pooping myself. Has made the league table a bit interesting though

    1..First direct.. 3 Pts (3 letters, 0 calls)
    2...Halifax....... 3 Pts (2 letters, 1 call)
    2...Capital one. 2 Pts (2 letters, 0 calls)
    4...Argos......... 1 Pts (1 letters , 0 calls)
    5...Egg............ 0 Pts ( 0 letters, 0 calls)

Halifax ( Pre tournament favorites ) now joint top and I was tempted to give Argos a couple of points for the DCA letter but keep it simple I think

Hope you all have a good day :D
