Sky Sports 1 - Brazil won 2 - 0. Robinho's goal was outstanding. Towards the end the Italians really spat their dummies out and were getting quite physical.
Great match ..... (I'm sure a woman isn't supposed to be this enthusiastic about footie, even so :o )

Sounds like the Italians had another rough time of it all. They do tend to be their own worst enemy. Very talented players but most of the time scared to go over the halfway line. Good job they didn't score first else a drab game would have been inevitable.

Did they have a go at Brazil or just sit back and hope for a miracle?

They did have a bit of a go, yes, but they did have a couple of very near misses, Cesar was superb in goal ... Brazil were very skillful though ...

  • Thanks. Just read the match report. They had the ball in the net twice, both not given. Ah well back to the drawing board.

Like I said near misses .... shame he felt the need to handle the ball before he scored! ;)

Luca Toni is rather shall we say, prone to missing or bumbling around the box.

Bit like a jigsaw really. Always falls apart in the box:o

Off to bed soon as I have been on nights. Been having a bit of a wobble lately and have had feelings of dread, failure and inadaquacy (Sp). I am sure these will pass but I think I have had too long to think about it now and just want it to get here

Hope you all have a nice day and dont have too much hassle

    Night Night Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

This is for when you wake up ym,

    Good Morning/Afternoon! :D
In my BR journey I can honestly say that I haven't felt inadequate but certainly a bit of a failure and also dread..... not so much before the court, even though people said that was the worst bit, I think this wait for the OR interview has been the worst bit. I really don't want to alarm anyone or sound negative but over the last few years I have been conditioned to expect things to go pear shaped.
I am fortunate in that if the OR cuts my outgoings I can in turn cut my income, I am determined to avoid an IPA if I can. It is just the thought of the questioning...... about my financial history, it seems like it is dragging it all up to the top of the pile again.
You have had a long wait for your date but it is nearly here and another chapter of your life will begin... a better one. The feeling of relief is enormous.
Chin up ... we are all here for you.. ;)
