Jo_R, sorry to hear you had a bad morning, how was the rest of your day? saw your thread on dfw, hope you can get everything sorted out soon xx

Rest of the day was not bad thankyou, we went to playgroup which DD2 absolutely loves, wish we'd gone down there earlier as it was on all day but just went for an hour or so.

Feeling a lot more positive re: the money stuff I posted about on DFW. It kinda does frustrate me sometimes because when I was younger (I'm not *that* old now though I don't think LOL!) I was pretty organised, everything in its place, books/papers/etc all neatly stacked and filed, and this is what I used to be like with my money stuff such as bills and whatnot. However the last few months I really let it slip and wasn't on the ball which has led to the situation I am in.

I hate saying this but part of the trouble is I am quite (very?) anal about money stuff (sounds like a contradiction almost given what I posted!) and I find it really, REALLY difficult to work with someone else towards shared finances and goals because I want to do it all my way - ie be in control. I'd be quite happy giving OH his 'pocket money' for spends and knowing that was all he could spend, and then me being in charge of bills, budgeting, and saving. However life isn't like that and with the depression affecting my memory and ability to communicate, and people having their own free wills, I find not having that total control over money can make me do the opposite of how I usually feel, ie hide my head and run away from it. Don't know if I've explained that very well, I like a structured world and it not being how I want is very difficult.
