Box of breakfast bars in your bag?
Or :money: make a bread pudding or tray bake and freeze individual portions, take them out in the morning and they'll be fine to eat by lunchtime.
Wow! great tip. I used to make bread pudding when I was a student, and do exactly that. It's actually better if you don't eat it as soon as you make it - it sort of matures after a day, and will last for days in the fridge. The independent woman's checklist for success :1. Hi Janie,Everybody is different and it can take up to a month but hopefully you should see some improvement after a couple of weeks. If you are no better after a month i would go back to the Doctors.Depression is an awful illness but of course you are not going mad.Hope you feel better soon.0 -

I have been watching CBB as well. There aren't many laughs on there this year but it has been quite good.
I too have felt gloomy. January isn't my best month, exhausted after Christmas month and low light levels. I see it as my recharge month and February can be a lot better as the days start to get longer.
I don't have any jokes to tell, not a great joke teller, I'm more observational and make funny comments about things I see and hear:DAn average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

Hi guys
An update
Been watching CBB and making comments on another forum. I find it funnier alongside watching it:D
Had a look at a couple of properties and I am feeling sad that the town has gone downhill with buy to let tenants. I know I am tenant too but we are different, we are renting till the market picks up. It had class and style here but they are letting to any old scum and lowering the tone/value now (I'm not a snob but what I am hearing about is being compared to living in the Bronx!).
It was a place for old people and there are still a fair few here but there has been an influx of young and foreigners taking over. There's not a lot here for people aged in between.
Where we are is nice but pricey. I was OK a year ago and felt comfortable but with the interest rates cuts our income has dropped. I can't see the point in it tbh - who is benefitting? The effing Labour party is a joke and now Obama is President, we are hoping this is the beginning of the upturn. We need to get rid of Gordon Joker Brown and his bunch of idiots next.
My OH is slowly building a business which is good, especially in this climate, so concentrating on counting our blessings.
Currently waiting for our landlord to look at a couple of things that came up on the inspection. He's a youngster who's daddy bought the property to let out. He wants to knock it down and build houses but the council keep refusing him.
What we need is a good income again and buy a place for a bargain price when the time is right. An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:
