Nobody helped my baby? Lots of people stopped to help me here when I had a fall.

Sam keeps reminding me of the Batman Begins quote "Why do we fall? So we can learn to pick ourselves up". If I didn't have that instilled in my head, I'd most likely go crazy. XD

Nope. People just walked by. =/

You see there is one 's' missing, well that's my little bit of 'sunshine' I'm sending to you on this difficult day. Sorry keeping the big 'S' for me.

Both my wife and 2 x BILs have been running around today, funeral is on Friday, I think keeping busy is keeping them together.

Haha. No, but they usually contain things like "Don't go walking into any more tables" lol.

    xx

glad to see you have a smile on your face again and don't worry about all the people who didn't come to your aid, it's their problem, remember you're one of the good people.

Many people react differently. Sometimes beliefs come in to play especially with religious people. They may believe the deceased person is now in a better place so be happy for them. Death is natural it is the fear of the unknown that makes us worry.

2 years ago she beat cancer, but was in hospital for over 6 months. The cancer came back a few months ago but she didn't tell anyone, in the end it was better she went within a few days instead of have the cancer eat away at her.

Hi guys I'm back :D I have just got my internet working in the new house and I'm reading back and trying to catch up with all you guys. I've missed you :)

Firstly I want to say thankyou to all of you for your lovely messages for my wedding :happyhear It was an amazing day, and as I am such a pessimist, better than anything I ever could have imagined! :o I don't think I'd ever been so happy. Settling into the new house now, after a bumpy start, but I detest my new job and I'm plotting to escape already!

Its lovely to hear from gillette again, its been a very long time and I hope you're ok. And looking after my saz I hope ;) I've missed all you guys though and I can see there are many new posters (hi  I'm not as crazy as I seem, honest!) and that lots of people have been having a pretty rubbish time :( I have to send a lot of love to tiff-I'm thinking of you, especially today, I know you're strong, but lots of love anyway :A I'm rubbish with words, but you're in my thoughts.

    xxxxxxxxxx

  • Anyone know any good jokes? I'm feeling a bit gloomy and have been for days now, even Big Brother isn't cheering me up.

there's a good thread on the Arms about daft accidents, some of them are really funny! I know it's hard to find anything at all funny when you're feeling down, but it's helped me this week.

A man and his wife were having an argument about who should brew the coffee each morning.

The wife said, "You should do it, because you get up first, and then we don't have to wait as long to get our coffee".

The husband said, " You are in charge of the cooking around here and you should do it, because that is your job, and I can just wait for my coffee."

Wife replies, "No you should do it, and besides it is in the Bible that the man should do the coffee."

Husband replies, " I can't believe that, show me."

So she fetched the Bible, and opened the New Testament and shows him at the top of several pages, that it indeed says:

Hi Rose:hello: Nice to see you posting, how are you doing?
  • No. Nothing's happened. No reason. Just low mood. Can't seem to shift it. Have even been out this eve (evening class) for the first time in weeks and was ok (ish) whilst out but came home still feeling gloomy. It's like a grey rain cloud permanently hanging over me whilst the rest of the country basks in a heat wave. Had doc's appointment today and usually feel a bit better after seeing him (he's a very good GP with background in mental health and I have good relationship with him) but didn't feel any better after it. I suppose this is the worst thing about depression - the lack of reason, not knowing why you feel the way you do.

I've been doing alot of reflective thinking about life 'n' stuff over the past month or so and am going through therapy at the moment so it might just be a reaction to that. Best not say anymore on that subject.

I really feel like typing as many really bad swear words as I can think of but I'd better not do that either.
