    Hi guys!hello.gif
I won't be long and really I don't even know why I'm posting this here - it's not exactly very fair to you guys. But this is the one place where I feel I can, so forgive me. I just felt so alone. My Mum has been taken into A&E and has been admitted with breathing problems. She is very poorly. I've been to see her and she was sitting out of bed bless her, on oxygen. She's caught a chest infection which has affected her breathing badly. They've said before they've done all they can for her as she is terminally ill, so it's just a case of helping her as much as possible when she gets problems. Mum's pretty much permanently on oxygen at home anyway due to her illnesses.
Her oxygen sats have dropped below 80. They told us that the chest infection is affecting her lungs, and that her lungs and also the coughing are putting a great strain on her heart. They haven't been able to take her off the oxygen at all. As a result, her speech is starting to slur and it's starving her brain of oxygen. They said she's also got DVT.
I felt awful - I couldn't wait to get away iykwim? I felt a really bad panic coming over me. I only lost Dad there 3 years ago this month. It's breaking my heart to see her like this. She looked so small and weak. But she could speak to me slowly bless her. She had tears in her eyes and they said so much to me.
But anyway, the reason I'm posting is to say thank you to all medical staff and all emergency services staff everywhere, who are working this holiday season. I know they will make a lot of difference to so many families.angel-smiley-002.gif
I'll be fine - don't worry - silly sniffy Tiffy - and I'm sorry for bringing the mood down. And that's not what I want at all! It's just that I could really use a hug and a prayer right now if there are any going spare.

Right I better go and see if I can find DS' Christmas presents that I put ''somewhere safe'' rolleyes.gif, so I can wrap them! lol ;)
    Night God Bless, everyone.sLo_hug2.gif
    Much Love,

((((((((((((((((((((hug))))))))))))))))) Tiff,so sorry to hear about your mum and i understand it is hard for you with it being the same month your Dad passed.I am sure it was a great comfort for her that you managed to go to the hospital and im sure she understands how hard it is for you to see her so ill.She is your mum and as you say there are really no need for words its all in the eyes and she will be able to read yours in the same way you did hers.
You have given so much help to many on this thread but very rarely post about your own problems but we are here for you in the same way you are for us.There is no need to feel alone .
Thanks for reminding us of the medcal and emergancy staff who work over christmas as you say they do make a differance to lots of families.
