where is my internet explorer

in Techie Stuff
i have been using firefox for some time now, but it prevents me connecting to microsoft for some reason.I want to download internet explorer from the microsoft site but it won;t let me
"firefox cannot establish a connection with the server etc!
I can't even find my ie icon???? searched for it on my computer, but when I click on it it won't let load.
Can someone send ie to me????
any ideas please

Open a page in Firefox then get this https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=35 then right clcik the page in firefox and select View page in IE0
