They just quoted me £1000 for a new head gasket and suggested I scrap the car. I took it to a little independant mechanic who compression tested the engine, found it was ok. It just needed a new distributor. They are crooks!0

Two very exlusive faults there, can't think of many modern cars that even have a distributor, unless it's some horrific Rover thing.
