Yes if you pay cash/cheque/credit card you get the reduced price but if you use Tesco vouchers you need to have enough vouchers for the full MOT price i.e. £50.35 or pay difference in cash etc.0 -

No they never broke them
Parts of your car broke whilst with them

I used them a couple of times. On the 2nd occasion, the put the wrong spark plugs in during a services and had to keep it for a week while they checked the cylinders and replaced the head gasket, that blew again 6 months later and we were told we needed a new engine (which they paid for). The car was never the same since and we traded it in last august for a new car.
I appreciate I may have just been unlucky but I will never use them again.Space for rent, apply within - Free trial on Thanks button though0 -

They do have a habit of finding things that don't really need doing(pads, discs and tyres are a particular favourite)!! That is fine for a service because you can decide if you want them to do it or not. In the case of the MOT i feel they have you captive because you can't get your car back until they fix whatever they have found. Strictly speaking you can get your car back but you are in effect driving it illegally if it has failed.0

Like many chains there are good and bad ones and so the quality does seem to vary. I've used the one in Swindon previously and been happy (though without discounts some of the work is pricy)...0
