  • Just bought one of the Pocket PC from Somerfield. I also would like to know if it is possible to load the speed camera database onto it. Please could you give me a step by step guide if it's possible. Thanks

  • Just to say, that my Dad bought a Mio 168, for £200ish about a year ago. He was delighted with it, good sat nav reception even in his Mondeo with a thermal screen. Whilst it still in its warranty - luckily - it had a fault where the cable insert at the bottom of the unit came loose from the insides, & he wasn't able to charge it. Now it was fixed under guarantee no problem, but he reckoned it was a design fault. This input is subject to alot of vibration when in the car, & he has now changed his sat nav system, because he felt this fault would re-occur.

I think it's still good value for that price, but just a word of warning to those that buy, to keep an eye on this bit, & if it looks like it's weakening make sure you get it looked at before the warranty ends

OH REALLY happy I saw this thread! Managed to get one at Muirend. Think they may have another one but it may be an 'open box'.

He too would be interested if anyone finds a speed camera update - I'm searching whilst I type - but if anyone get there first please post. Thanks.

Just touch the stylus on the little + that appears on the screen (and moves).
