    Hi,

Has anyone found any any of these in the north east? Have looked quickly at the 10 pages on here and cannot find a mention. I am in Cramlington

Thanks in advance (saves me driving about tomorrow!)

    Baz

Have you tried the Cramlington Branch ?

There were two PDA satnav's left at the Ponteland branch when I bought mine this afternoon.

If Anyone is after a Garmain - Mitcham in Surrey (Between Sutton & Croydon) had one left at around 3pm today (Saturday), it can be found at the cigarette counter, with other electrical gadgets !

BAZ - Check the Somerfield Website https://www.somerfield.co.uk and see the stores closest to you .... give them a call before you start your drive !! - hope that helps !

From Italiastar to star1 - your a star! Thanks, I was surprised to find it was still there this evening. I think it had been returned as it was rattling about in the box - I think it must have some packaging missing - can someone else please confirm - and had a rubber magnetic thing marked GPS, which does not appear on the contents list - I think it must have come from the GPS speed camera detector they had on sale. I'm just playing with the Garman - any hints would be appreciated.

PS. if anyone wants the mp3 players, they had a few in mitcham.

Thanks to op managed to get one today.

However, when switching on (I am in the house not made it to the car yet), it says "locating satellites" and thinks I am in central london, I am not more middlesex.

How long does it stay on "locating satellites"?

I set my home address and it then says "awaiting better accuracy"

    Help anyone please?

Leave it in the garden for 45 minutes and it should be fine although it will never work indoors.

Was it the Garmin or the PDA sat nav that you purchased?

If it was the PDA I struggle get get a signal from the satellite while in my house but works fine when you are outside/in the car

Going the Autosport Interantional Roadshow at the NEC Birmingham so will test it out tomorrow to see how accurate it is
