I'm trying to download the speed camera data to mine. Has anyone managed to connect theirs to their computer?

My i3 is not automatically detected by XP and attempts to run the software come up with a error message pointing me to the Garmin site. If I try to install it manually it fails - error 10.

Has anyone got any ideas, please

This is prooving to be more grief than it's worth - meethinks I'll be getting a new Michelin map....................

This is no reflection on the people who recomended them.

Just come back from a friends house and used the PDA sat nav to get directions, very impressed with the unit as instead of taking the turn off as prompted we went further down the road and the sat nav recognised this and showed us the other way to get to the street. I am off to Birmingham tomorrow for a motor show so will be testing the kit on the way down but so far it has well been worth the money
  • Don't forget to get the speed camera database from http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/uksafetycameras.php the december one is out & they will be making a charge of £2 for future updates :)

    Folks,

It’s my other half’s birthday next weekend and after spotting this thread, I thought the PDA Sat Nav would be a great present as she’s always forgetting appointments and getting lost.

So today, I’ve been busy either phoning or visiting all the Somerfield branches in Gloucestershire and the Swindon area (cos I work there) for one of these units but I haven’t had any luck.

Are there any MSers willing to help me to source one of these units as it will make me the most popular person next weekend and make my other half’s birthday!

    Many thanks in advance.

    BEST BET,
Try Kwiksave as they have the same offers but all the prices marked are the old one, so staff nor customers have twigged yet.
