So I guess the questio now is does anyone know what the deal is with Somerfield re: price matching? or failing that any other retailers who willprice match with the prices found in Cardiff etc. or are most price matches local only?

I think it is 14 days on computers and 30 days on everything else because you can in effect take it back within 30 days and get a refund and then go and buy one from somerfield.

how diffrent is this one compared to the reconditioned one -- PPC250 in medion website? they are the same price of £129.

PPC250 also has integated GPS receiver. anyone has any experience with both of these two?

Saw both the Garmin and the PDA one in Somerfield in Yeovil today (Friday), one box for each on the shelf but they keep stock locked away in the store room so don't know how many they have left.

PPc250 has a cabled GPS head, the MD95459 has it integrated as does the one on sale (if you can get one) in Somerfield and KwikSave.

I know someone who has the PPC250 and basically a slightly thinner unit than the MD95459, because it does not have the GPS unit built in. Both will do the same with regard to functionality its just the MD95459 has the GPS unit built in which makes it that little bit more portable.
