Garmin Satnav offers (merged)

Hi all
Just been and bought the garmin satnav. Set it all up and for the past 10 minutes it just keeps saying locating Satellites. What have I done wrong?

The first time the unit is switched on and searches for satellites, this can take quiet a few mimutes. After this it should be fine (take up to 2 mins to lock on max)

Also, just been to our branch in Cippenham, Berkshire and all they had left was a 14 inch tv/dvd, and Speed camera detector . BE CAREFUL with the speed camera detector that is £39.99. For you to be able to download new camera location you have to buy a £34,99 'connection kit' AND pay a subscription for the camera updates.

Got a few Garmin units in Somerfield Porthcawl (south wales) No PDA's. Kwiksave are also doing the deal...just picked up the last PDA in their Bridgend store, had some Garmin units still there.

PDA is basically the Mitect Mio 168 as already mentioned.

Tried the one I picked up already, map software on MMC card which auto installs when placed into PDA, Medion map software, works pretty well

Everywhere seems to have the garmin but not pda one.

Sorry forgot to mention, that sat nav's do not like working indoors, plus some car windscreens they do not like (heated for one and the other is the 'blue' reflection type ones)

I picked one up today, Medion Navigator 5 is the navigation software, UK & Ireland are preloaded and also on CD as well. Just tried it works great, easy to set up and use.
