Your post reminded me and I have sent them a further email today asking if I'll ever get a response !To infinity and beyond!0 -

wooh, miracle fellow believers! God has spoken, yes the link have replied!
Well not sure why they did, the only thing I did different in three emails was to put the word ‘URGENT’ in the title header of the third and send it as high importance. Did the trick0 -
Yes - I'm having a similar problem with The Link. Not good. I'm wanting to know when my bluetooth headset, part of the Samsung E530 18 month deal, will be arriving.
I also want to ascertain from them how they will treat the first TMobile invoice if it contains part of a month and a complete month, as it surely will. I want them to tell me whether for cashback purposes that this bill will be regarded as bill one, or bill one and two?
I would appreciate anybodys views on this please.0 -

The terms and conditions state your first and sixth bill, surely that means exactly that, whether the first bill is 4,5,6,7, or 8 weeks. theres no mention in the t+c's of any pro-rata ing whatsoever
There is a number at the bottom of the claim form, i think this number is the cashback 'division' they may have an answer based on past experience.0 -

No, it says "1st and 6th month airtime bill". When I get the first bill it will likely have some days backward on it, ie those days I had the phone for before the first full month is billed. So the first bill will contain those few days, plus the whole of the following month. What I want to know from The Link is whether they would regard this as months 1 and 2 for cashback purposes, or simply month 1?
It is far better to be certain about this from the outset, because The Link will no doubt do whatever they can to avoid these payments I'm sure.0 -

Agree 100%.
But t+c’s state you have 28 days after the 6th bill to send the form, so even if the first bill was say 7 weeks (i.e. 3 prior and then the usual 4 prepayment) you’d still have one week to ensue the claim form reached them. Only if you were very unlucky would you not make the bill plus the 28day period.
Although this system is far from perfect it would keep you in the t+c's would it not?
Also, as i said rang up the number 01858414717 record the conversation if it answers the query, then you have everything you need. Trawling through the net The Link is one of the better payers.0 -

Yes it probably is counted as bill 1, whether or not it has part of a month on it. Nevertheless, it is ambiguous as it stands, and now is the time to ensure that there will be no problem when it comes to claiming. I want The Link to write it down, that way we'll all know where we stand for the future. I'm sure this question must have arisen before. Yes, I could as you say, send two lots of bills off. But if I did that then I could not be sure which of the two sets had triggered the cashback payment. Then I would have to do the same for the second and third portions of the cashback. It is simply not manageable and it only needs The Link to give simple clarification.0
