They are ok. I got mine from cpc.co.uk.
I am a Field Service Engineer so I am on the road all day, which means my dinners are always in the car so it is brilliant for that.
I keep a 2 litre bottle of water in the car and a box of teabags in the glovebox.
They do take a long time to boil water though, so what I do is park up for my dinner. Put a cup full of water into the kettle and plug it in so it is boiling whilst eating my butties etc., and by the time I have finished it is just at the right temperature to drink(I dont wait for it to boil). I think its great.Old pilots say "It is better to be down here Wishing you were up there, than up there wishing you were down here."0 -
What happened to those self-heating cans of coffee? http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/1603391.stm I remember drinking one ages ago but don't remember seeing them in ages.
Edit: looks like this http://www.realtechnews.com/posts/3028 is the answer to my question.0 -
Oh thanks for reviving this! Cheered me up no end re reading all the banter we had at the beginning of the year - had forgotten all about it.
Ahhh, those were the days - when a sense of humour was allowed on the motoring forum........... and Goldie was still drunk from Christmas, going round Anewmans house and peeing over his car....... or was it under his car?? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Genie

If Goldie did it earlier today he'd have caught the numerous police officers who were paying a lengthy visit to the neighbours, lol.0
