The best place to go would be back to the original dentist, but 11/12 yrs is good life span.

It's a bit hard to say whether it'd be done on the NHS, but as one has broken, then getting that one replaced should be I would think. Geting the rest done to match wouldn't be though.

If you pay NHS charges, then it would be about £200 though. Free if you're exempt from charges.
    How to find a dentist.
    1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
    2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
    3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
    4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.
  • Visited a new dentist today as my original is no longer in practice,, not a question asked he has removed the broken veneer and said he will colour match as best possible and refit as early as next week!!!! All on the NHS ,,

The receptionist said there are instances where veneers can still be fitted on the NHS,,, I felt very lucky phew!!!!

Thanks for the reply tho!! :o
  • I had a veneer - it fell off several times, and always at the worse possible times; during holidays, several hours before we were going out for a meal, weekends when the dentist is closed. Whilst it boosted my confidence, I think I would have rather never had it done. Now I try not to bite with it which is pretty challenging as its at the front. Think carefully before having it done, if you do not really need to have it done
