i think you will find that no-one really had a favourite, only the best of a bad bunch. eoghan couldnt sing and as for his dancing to abba well left arm and left leg forward and back proved he had 2 left feet and no rhythm. JLS were the only orginal act who could properly sing and have a career as there is a gap in the market and they deliver various sounds. alexandra was all about effect and pretending to be breathless all the time. she didnt get through a song without crying. even dermot was so fed up with it he felt the need to say to her 'if you can sing, you can speak' because he knows its all a put on. we have too many warbling up and down 'singers'. she is a wedding singer and always will be. not a patch on leona who sings effortlessly and beautifully and the only talent to come out of this show. alexandra who????

She was my favourite by far and I love her voice, also I think she is a lot better at this stage than Leona was and I'm a big fan of Leona.

I don't understand why people read something they are obviously not interested in and then post negative comments about it.

The OP was only trying to help those who do like Alexandra.

And who said anything against the OP? I simply said it's a bit strange that the album is coming out so soon.

It's just that I think she is amazing and I wanted to say as much...

I agree with you, I think it is too early for her album - to be honest I was expecting to put her album on next years Christmas list

As far as I am aware its not an "album" it her single along with her best songs from the live shows (or so Hmv told me)

I agree that its not nice to hear horrible comments about her, I think she was fab, and so did the majority of voters or she wouldn't have won?!
I liked Jls & Laura but I think the right person won, consistent and a great performer, I can't see how any one could honestly say she doesn't have a good voice, I would love to be able to sing like that, and if she can sing a song almost as well as a world wide star like beyonce then surely that says it all.

nobody said she didnt have a 'good' voice or could sing. Most peoples aggrevation with her is she warbles everything and over sings songs. The whole show was centered around her winning for the last four weeks. Its clever marketing.

It amazes me that people WANT her album after hearing her doing a karaoke show and having no clue what kind of music she will even be singing. Thus is the expert marketing team behind x-factor.

Cowell deserves all the money he gets because after five years he's still duping the public.

They're all flash in the pan singers who wont be around longer than a few years at best anyway. But of them all i think they could have done more with JLS in todays music scene. What is Alexandra honetsly going to be? a power ballad singer? it wont last because mothers get cds three times a year. birthdays, mothers day and christmas. Or is she going to be a british rip off of beyonce?

you can see all aspects of the argument really. Hats off to Cowell though - he's done it again and only the momentum of the music industry as a whole has been sacrificed.

I read yesterday that Simon has also signed JLS, Eoghan and Diana. So expect albums from all 4 during 2009!!
