    well The HOLIDAYS have started
First of all I would like to apologise for the gloating tone of my last post re the ironing...it occurred to me that I might have come over all preachy - but like most people I do the jobs I like most when short of time...oddly I like ironing! Another priority is keeping the bathroom clean - I have a hot spot of a dining room on an almost permanent basis though ... so I am not perfect nor was I trying to imply I was. Hope I didn't come over like that. Having said that one of the biggest changes since I have been a flylady is the improved level of hygiene and cleanliness in my kitchen. I clean my windowsill (all 7 tiled feet of it) every week now and I have cleaned the windows a few times too. Now if I could apply myself to the hotspot that is my dining room I would be living in an Anthea clean home...
And as for washing up - I manage to do it - in batches - and rarely dry and put away...I am trying to train DS and DD to select washed pots to use from the draining rack. They are VERY good at clearing cookies and choccies though :rotfl: and I have LOTS!

Ooohh A thing on tv saying its women that whinge most when they have a cold and not men. And that women take longer to recover. Im sure its men who are worse as women still have to get on with things.
Of course we take longer to recover - because WE keep going throughout it all!

Don't know when I'll find time to do my own house - it's like the tippiest tip house in tip land....it's tidy downstairs (but not clean) and upstairs - well - say no more
Trouble is it's a busman's holiday for you ... hope you get it sorted! Love the vivid description!

dairy is very mucous forming. Since I gave up dairy my sinusitis has gone and a cold only lasts about a day!
I too have found this - I won't let the kids have dairy when they are bunged up - and I find Chinese style curry sauce very good...especially when you have that 'I've got a cold coming on' feeling...
    (any excuse for a Chinese...)

(eek) and a french grammar test this afternoon (double eek).
shouldn't that be 'merde' instead of ?:rotfl:
    Was it just me then?
I've made my own gift tags by scanning a motif off the wrapping paper and printing it onto card. I love coordinating things.
Ooh I would never have though of that...
Good news is that I PASSED my exam - 91% - only had the bits wrong that I knew about yesterday. Well chuffed - can get onto the next module now.

    Well done you too!
I rang the course co-ordinator who asked me to come in for a chat........Im not leaving now......she said that I was sitting on a 78-80 average and she wasnt going to let me leave,
And well done you and your course co-ordinator...

I'm seriously demob happy now. I've finished work until 5th January! Yay! So I'm having a celebratory LARGE and early G&T!. I need to write a list of things to do before Christmas and stick it up here in a bit once I've decided what's practical and what's not.
