  • Still haven't caught up with the thread - sigh

Completely overslept (i'm on nights at mo) as didn't set alarm clock right so thats today wasted - hubby coming home early so we can see each other for 15 mins!

Phoned mom and she said that my dad has been told that there is nothing the hospital can do to improve his sight so they're going to register him as partially sighted (and yes, they were that abrupt) - poor old dad, he's only 62! That's what years of cider and overeating does to someone with a genetic predisposition to diabetes.

Hope everyone is on the mend/getting sorted/getting a desmoked kitchen (((hugs))) pigpen

toots - have replied to your PM

    [STRIKE]2. Do load of washing[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]3. Clean Kitchen Sides[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]4. Clean Cooker top[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]5. Clean Kitchen Sink[/STRIKE]
    6. Tidy living room
    7. Polish wall unit and drinks cabinet
    8. Tidy off dining table and polish
    9. Hoover living room floor
[STRIKE]10. Clear all things off stairs and put away[/STRIKE]
    11. Cook Dinner
    12. Wash up (again!)
    [STRIKE]13. Empty Kitchen Bin[/STRIKE]

Means kitchen is all clean now. Do I really have to go and cook dinner and make it a mess again?!! Will try to do a bit of the living room before dinner. My DS keeps getting grumpy tho and doesn't understand that Mummy needs to clean, although she would much rather sit down and play with him!!

 I'm sort of here. House is a complete pigsty. I sort of gets semi-tidy but then after 2 days it goes to complete pot. I'm really struggling to keep on top of what I have done so any tips would be great. Shall try and read through the thread later but hugs for those who need them.

Just remembered I have weight watchers tonight...tempted to put the children to bed early (they've been ill and are tired) and have fish and chips for tea!

Anyway going to get the washing out of the machine and make a concerted effort to hang it before I go. xxx

  • Justamum -thanks for the info I didn't know I could do that so i'll give it a go -it'll definitely cut down on the waste in the skint household.
The bad news is Mr Skint has decided he's had enough of living here and has gone home to his mum because I asked him why he was overdrawn again when he only got paid this morning and owes me £200 - which I need to pay dd's due next Mon. That turned into a whole argument about trust and he started on about my ex again. So now he's gone and I don't really know what to do with myself.
