Weekly Flylady Thread 15th December 2008

Hi All,

Ok, need a kick up the bum, haven't done anything yet today (we did go out to a Christmas party this morning tho). I didn't get anything done yesterday either as the little boy I was supposed to be looking after turned up in the end and I had my hair cut in the evenings. What a lot of excuses!! House is a mess and have someone coming to see me about minding at the weekend, so need to get at least the downstairs all tidy and clean. So list for this afternoon is:

1. Wash up
2. Do load of washing
3. Clean Kitchen Sides
4. Clean Cooker top
5. Clean Kitchen Sink
6. Tidy living room
7. Polish wall unit and drinks cabinet
8. Tidy off dining table and polish
9. Hoover living room floor
10. Clear all things off stairs and put away
11. Cook Dinner
12. Wash up (again!)

All this while keeping a nearly 1 year old entertained!! Lets see how I get on.

Well hubby came home with a gramophone... he is a freak!

Littlewoods stamp on its way ... that should be our 5 for the next card

awh bless her MOF77 - I know just how she feels with all these student doctors - it can be very intimidating - well done to her! Is it treatment for her condition that she is getting - what are they going to do - a very rare condition which makes her even more special - i hope it is successful - how old is she? What a difference that will be to have a bed there but what of the boyos - I expect they are going to your parents are they?

ok very nice young boiler service man and assistant have been and done the service ....on the old boiler:rotfl: not me!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:
It was the same guy as last time - no probs - so thats it for another year.

might try and get something constructive done for the rest of the day - have done 2 xWm and both been dried outside.
have been looking for handbagaddress book - No, its not in my handbag and I need it for 1 last address!!!

Well, the panto was fab. The kids really enjoyed it. We had a demands for extra songs and hugs with santa, the sheep and even the big bad wolf got a ton of hugs!!!!

Really cant be @rsed to do anything now, so I'm going to have a quick tidy in living room and then get something to eat before work.

Hi Toots:)
The top layer of her skin is going to be chemically burned off, there is a massive risk of infection thats why she is being hospitalised!! She is only 7!! If this doesnt work then they are going to look into the possibility of tar treatment...although this is only available to over 18s.....so fingers crossed, she will also see a child psychologist to try and build up her self esteem as she is now very aware of how different she is!! She loves the attention the Drs give her and the treats:) They spoil her, her consultant always has a book or a treat for her when she comes, she currently attends the adult clinic in the city hospital in belfast (which is about an hour away from home) and she will be treated in the childrens hospital which is still in the same area....but a different hospital!!!
The boys are going to be staying at home with my parents, sisters and friends!! They are looking forward to a goodnights sleep!!!:)
