My HHC was going well until DD decided to tell me that she'd got a wet bed when I sent them to bed! She wet the bed last night and told DH this morning but he didn't tell me or do anything about it. I've just rung DH and he says that she said it was wet at the top so he thought it was just wet off her hair! Even if her hair had still been a bit damp last night from swimming - her pillow wouldn't still have been wet this morning!

    So in my HHC I:

    Started to clear LR floor
    Filled a bag of rubbish
    Stripped and remade DD's bed!

Need to carry on now so will be doing another one 7.30 - 8!

The plot thickens about the mysteriously and inconveniently parked motorbike! Just had two very nice policeman knock on my door - they had a very big police van parked up outside (they were lucky to actually get a parking space!) asking where the bike was.

Told them I last saw it ~there~ at about 6.30pm when I put some rubbish out. But, it wasn't ~there~ at about 6.50pm when nice neighbour phoned and looked out when I told her about it. They confirmed it had been reported stolen this morning and they'd tried to get in touch with the owner but hadn't managed to. They're now off to find out what's happened to it - maybe it's been stolen again!

Best thing was not so nice neighbour the otherside was working in his garage and clocked them knocking on my door. I could see him desperately trying to listen to what was being said and clearly wondering why two policemen were wanting to speak to me! When I looked his way, he beat a hasty retreat! Doubtless I'll be quizzed next time he sees me!

But, I'm so pleased my gut instinct was right.
