mumoffour77 how did you get on?
I managed to clear the unit in the kitchen to be removed (hubby just after taking it out).
 Sort another load of washing.
 Finish all the dishes.
 Get kids into bed.
 Go to the shop again.
Toots Bo is great and can even manage to jump on the seat again (he thinks he is king of the castle again).
Right back to the kitchen back later to update.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0

Nikki - read the DLA thing, but I would suggest you find help completing it. It's a minefield. We have a Disability Advice Project here, if you have something similar, or perhaps CAB, or maybe even your GP knows of somewhere. DS got it first time round, but when it came up for renewal he was turned down and we had to go to Tribunal, but won on appeal. He only gets the Higher Rate mobility, but you may also be eligible for the care element, and may be able to claim for a carer's allowance as well. The other thing to remember once you get it is that wherever you are living, you can have your insulation topped up FOC, if in receipt of DLA, and you are also entitled to a discount on your Council Tax. I know you are now involved with AfME, so they will probably be able to advise about form filling. There is a deadline from the form being sent out to you getting it back to them as well, but they will backdate your application to the date of receipt. Like I said - minefield - GET HELP!DMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419

I seem to have lost today - between catching up reading the thread and then posting tonight, visiting with my old friend this afternoon the day has almost gone.
I did manage a few small bits tonight but not as much as planned - might still do something - just means I will be pushed to get everything done tomorrow to stay on track - I really did want to have Monday for 'me' bits and wrapping - oh well 'me' will just have to wait!!!
ok off to put the kettle on and do something ?????? *find list too*

 toots xx
It's only a little wall - and I was careful. And I haven't put the shopping away - I bought it, OH can do the putting away! And only the dailies housework! No big effort.
Is now a good time to say that the day I came out of hospital (5 day stay and surgery for a burst appendix) I got in the house, picked up the car keys and drove 8 miles each way to collect cat food from the vets?:rotfl: Oh, I did get blue lighted back in 10 days later for a 6 day stay with a post op infection - not my fault as it was covered by dressings. Oh, and my "keyhole" is about 7 inches long as they couldn't fish my appendix out without a lot of trouble. I told the surgeon he should have done it when I was in for 3 days on a drip 3 months earlier and he sent me home saying it was my gynae problems, but didn't call my specialist to see me!
And - if I don't get the lounge finished (apart from doing the laminate floor) we won't be putting the tree up!:eek:DMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419
