Yep - let's go for it
HHC 4:00 - 4:30
I'll sort some of the many hotspots in my front room"There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers

Have done very little from my list, apart from the last thing! Gonna start soon as DH watching football on tv
did go out for our usual saturday lunch, and i went to sainsbury's on the way back and bought:
gin (Bombay Saphire is £14.99 a liter at the moment)
brandy (mainly for cooking)
Moet champagne (for xmas morning!)
vodka
tonic
lemons & limes
...plus cream and choc chip cookies for a pud i'm making on boxing day...oh, and a pint of milk. :rotfl:
The young shop assistant said 'is all this for Christmas?'...had I been quicked I'd have said 'No, i just fancy a blow out tonight...' all we now need is Kaluha (sp) as DH is determined to make white russian cocktails... must go and make some ice!
slowly catching up on the thread....Get home this evening and it's still there. So, I phoned the local police station - only had to wait 15 minutes to get through... said I was wondering if it was stolen. The chap I spoke to asked for the reg no - I gave it to him, he paused a bit and then said 'I'll let Officers know'. I asked is it stolen then? He said he couldn't tell me anything. So what do you think ladies - if it wasn't 'known' would he just have said there was nothing to do?What a star you are for getting that lego for lil_me.
I also use firefox, have done for several years now. I much prefer it though it takes a bit of getting used to. Have to use IE at work as that's what's on the systems!
lil_me is yous sky+ box full? silly question but it starts overwriting things then. I put a keep on everything i want now to stop accidental deletion!
pigpen - i am going to town tomorrow or monday so i'll have a look for the bag for you. Can you pm me your mobile number so i can let you know straight away if they have it as i won't be coming straight home. think i still have your address...
mudbath - good to have you home, i have no idea how my poor mum managed after her hysterectomy, she was on her own with the 2 of us, funny how you don't notice these things as a kid!
pink - hope you're taking care of yourself and that DH is less grumpy now..Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
I'll join you froddy and do the kitchen. If i don't move soon i'll be asleep (fell asleep for 3 hours when i got in last night....partly tiredness partly the alcohol at the work do...Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0

Memory like a sieve ..........
AnW's mum - glad you enjoyed going to watch bucks fizz - it was them wasn't it? It's just I think you only mentioned it once so I might have got it wrong:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: !
Ahem I think you might recall it was STATUS QUO!
Just got back from MIL (who bought me the 2nd copy of Mamma Mia (I bought the first for A to wrap up :rotfl: )) She asked if I had a copy already and I politely said no I hadn't (after priming A to say nothing!) I hate having to trail back anywhere to exchange so thought this was the easier option. Will prob end up regifting and buying something else for me laterOfficial Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
toottifrootti wrote: »Hi mudbath - just saw your post so thought i would answer before i go back IYSWIM - what does your body tell you - do you think you would manage a walk - and is there places in the garden centre you can sit down if you get sore/tired - I think it would be nice for you to get out but you need to bee very very careful - cushion or pillow would be good and watch for people knocking into you too that was what frightened me after my big op. I used a pillow in the car as it covered more and stopped you moving about in the seat when you go round roundabouts etc!!!! its a lovely tradion you have. hugs and cuddles for you and spotty dotty poppy puppy dog - ooh its her first christmas wonder what she will make of it!!
take care honey
toots xx
I agree with toots but what about using a wheel chair (assuming they have courtesy ones) while you are there. People might just be a bit more considerate plus you don't have to worry about finding places to rest as you go round. I remember when we got married Dad had his foot bandaged up so tightly so that he could walk me down the aisle to give me away, and it set back his recovery months. He had had a skin graft which due to prolonged standing just would not take properly.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
Lol @ status quo....I NEVER would have guessed that one!!! We're doing wheelchair with tinsel, lights etc and making it a family occasion. Should be fun xx0

:rotfl: froddy strange you should mention that, in DS1s old class he was the only one out of 8 who didn't! Kids with various needs but mainly ASD/Downs. It's the youngest that likes it. Have taped envelopes (used 2 rolls I had just got so will need to get some more) just incase.....
Rach, I didn't know that, thank you! I will have to make sure, DSs are a nightmare for recording everything as they know how to use it. It's the oldest stuff that has gone first so that makes sense (ashes to ashes started when we got it)
jjef great news!!
Will catch up properly later, got dinner cooking now, lasagne, one of my favesOne day I might be more organised...........
