ETA: soappie - when i lived there the post office in pokesdown in the little shop (phillips news) I think used to be open all day...my mate ran it ;)

Seems the one by the precinct is open until 4pm. However, last orders for Special Delivery is 1pm so I've missed that (bro and family finally arrived and had coffee and have just left!)

But, it will be at the post office first thing Monday morning!

Afternoon all - only caught up to p62 so sorry if a bit OOT.

    dalies done
    3 beds stripped
    washing on the line
one door decoration made and up
cat litter tray emptied and cleaned.

Just having a bowl of soappie chicken soup and then out to do a bit of gardening as it is the first nice day in ages. Also need to sort some logs whilst outside.

OH being a star, he has

    Brought sack of pots
    been to the dump
been to get DS1's last present
now dropping boys at pitch and putt and stopping at Lidl as he has to pass it

    I'll pop back later.

Vanilla - hope hubbie gets back on track soon, how's your bump?
Serena - I'm glad your mum is back at the home and I'm a lot better now thanks
Johanne - some babies sleep more than others - there is no rhyme or reason so don't try changing loads of things - it's just life hun, if she is really grouchy all day then that may mean she needs more sleep but if she's not I doubt she does

Err. Have almost finished work work thing (which is urgent) but am breaking it up into maneagable chunks...I am NOT going out until it is done tho!
Have been to list stuff stashed for kids and have failed, totally, to list what I have bought and what I have spent over the year... (they have an equal(ish) budget.)
I have also undone carrier bag of gifts brought to do from school. Box of biccies, tin of biccies hungry DS happy me - that'll cut the budget! (Total of 4 boxes/tins of biccies received!) Am 'half' thrilled with this well more than half am utterly thrilled BUT do they think I have baggy eyes? Or is it that I always look so tired? Lol! I am dead chuffed it's lovely!

ETA have just totalled up kids stuff. DS is about there (under budget but close - good job I got the money off the 'big item'.) DD not far off - feel like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders.

OOO just remembered I have two selection boxes in the pots cupboard in the kitchen (been there a week and have remained undiscovered lol) which were BOGOF at Mr M!.

ETA2 - Talking of the Variety performace (well we were -three days ago - it's coming to something when I can't even keep up with the goss:rotfl:) weren't the Jersey Boys good?

***wanders off to relocate said selection boxes***

ETA3 Thanks for the card MoF77!

I'm putting off the food shopping so starting to sort out the lego package - isn't it typical! Once I opened up this enormous box, the actual contents only take up half of it! It's going to be really easy to rejig...

I've baked a choc cake, Prepped up 2.5 kg of spuds for roasties over Xmas, done the same with 4 bags of Aldi parsnips and tidied out one of the freezers. Now have to tidy out the other one so that I have some room to put the veg in there:rotfl:

Delayed shock d'you think - or stress? TBH I'd be more surprised if she wasn't shocked or stressed...mind you she can't be TOO bad - she's gone off me :rotfl::rotfl:
