i clean aluminium/metal baking trays the same way i do the frying pans: half fill with water, dash of washing up liquid, and put it on the hob. bring up to the boil, turn down really low and let simmer for a little while and everything just floats off.0

I wonder what Delia does to the skins that resulted in the swearing filter taking effect? !!!!!!!!! I'm assuming that's what these are anyway?
I think I worked it out "pr*ck skins""Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

hi,just used oven pride to sort out disgusting cooker,it's £3.00 for the liquid and bag,so i was wondering, now i have the bag, does anyone have a good tip what i could put in it to clean the oven trays in future rather than buying whole kit again?
thanks0 -
Could you wash the bag out the first time? Maybe the charity bags which get dropped through your door might be good for disposable oven racks - however, they're more likely to tear.
I would also say - Do NOT put in more than 2 baking racks (which it recommends) or you end up not cleaning 3 racks properly!! (Still miles better though)
Edit - I completely misread it... I thought you said you had the solution but no bag... Not had the bag and no solution! :rotfl: sorry!!!0 -

Someone recommended using ammonia on one of the threads. You pour in a cup of ammonia when you have the trays in, then seal the bag up. You have to be careful of the fumes because they are powerful! I've done it before and it works.0 -
