Is the wireless enabled on your router?
Can you see your wireless network on the laptop when you search for available networks?
Have you set-up wireless encryption?
More info needed. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
Yes
I can see the network on laptop
Dont think I have set up wireless encryption...?0 -
Are you sure that it's actually your wireless network? You should change the network name (SSID) to something unique. You need to read the user manual for your particular router as they differ slightly and you will need to secure your wireless by setting up encryption. What happens when you try to connect? Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

I have checked that the laptop has got an ip address through the cmd function..
I'm now pulling my hair out with this....0 -
So use Network and dial up connections!
What IP is displayed? Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
