My phone has just been delivered but it's faulty.

I ordered it on a whim (because it was so cheap and I thought there was a chance that it might come unlocked) but then I thought better of it after I read some of the problems reported by users, so I planned on sending it straight back (aside from any camera issues, some users have reported problems with the earpiece volume and also crashing / firmware problems):

Then I thought I'd sell it on eBay as I could probably make a profit out of it so I opened the box to try it out. Unfortunately the metal clip that secures the SIMcard is missing, meaning the SIM does not make contact so you get a message saying "please insert SIM".

I suppose I could ask for a replacement and then sell it on eBay but it all seems a bit too much hassle so I think I'll just ask for a refund instead.:wall:

I would just send it straight back if it is faulty you shouldn't have a problem.

I have given mine to my daughter as an extra for her birthday and she is thrilled clicking pictures everywhere.

No freezing and volume so far is fine. Pictures are great but still haven't tried sending to the PC. My daughter doesn't do that anyway.

I am pleased sometimes I order things on a whim and regret it but not this time.

Yeah, tends to be that if you hang about you often end up missing out on a bargain. At least you know if order something off the internet, you have a cooling-off period so you can always send it back if you change your mind. If it's a real bargain, there's always a chance that you can find someone who will be happy to take it off your hands (or you could possibly make a profit by selling it on eBay);)
