Paypal always favour the buyer in a transaction, for this reason its great for ebay but bad if you are a genuine seller that has had a fast one pulled by a buyer. It does happen!

Just wondering, did you have to send the items back or not? Strange, as I thought that Paypal usually asks for the buyer to send the item back and then gives buyer back the full refund?

that's the best part I had nothing from paypal to say send the item back, they just credited back the £12 into my account. The cable without the software would have been useless anyway and I was lucky to find the s/w reduced from £50 to £5.
