  • Good for you paula, I totaaly know where your coming from as I do some part time freelance work that is slowly becoming a small business. As you say, you will get more work in and your self esteem will be better without all the hassle.

Just want to point out that it's "Paul" not "Paula" :D
  • morning all. Well, I didnt manage day 3 of my nsd yesterday - ended up going to cinema and blowing a packet. However, made sure I also went via tesco last night and got shopping needed so today will be a nsd instead.

Horse wouldnt come in out of the field last night - daft bu**er, but at least is saved me a trip up in the car this morning to put him out again.

    Today, I will...
    - do clicks
    - check damage from yesterdays spends
    - sort out repayments for council tax as got a summary warrant letter yesterday (i know, I know)
    - return some items we bought from an online site as they are too big. Have to pay the postage back but will be better to at least get something back from it.
    - brought my lunch in - thats a record 5 days this week (so proud)
    - storecupboard tea (even though its the meal for £10 in M&S this weekend and i would love it - i could almost feed us for the week with the same amount)
    - try to work out an excuse to take the car tomorrow for works night out so I dont have to pay for taxi and have great excuse not to buy alcohol

Put FREE air in car tyres at the only garage around here that doesnt charge for it.
Scrape ice off car , saving on de-icer.

I don't blame you either Paul. At the end of the day, its not all about the money coming in.

  • Left the car at home.

Took two buses to work, saved £9.50 on bus fares ( see my user name) or around £10/£12 in fuel costs and didn't put 90 miles on the clock.

Oh, and had a little kip on the bus and didn't have to suffer the stress of motorway driving!
  • Hello everyone! :hello:

  • Hi - can I join in?

I was hoping for a no spent day today but have just bought some Christmas presents online so that's out the window. Today I plan to:
    • Check online banking,
    • Do daily clicks,
    • Check out onepoll and any other surveysI can find,
    • Ebay at least 10 items (trying to aim for 5 a day but didn't manage any yesterday)
    • Work out how to get my money out of a bingo site,
    • Enter any competitions and have a look on the freebies board,
    • Post a new SOA as things have changed slightly now I'm at college.
    - try to work out an excuse to take the car tomorrow for works night out so I dont have to pay for taxi and have great excuse not to buy alcohol

This is eactly what I've been thinking!! Anyone got any ideas? Don't want to seem like a spoil sport but really don't have the money!
