  • O2 barred my phone so I couldn't send any calls or texts. Phoned up to find out what was going on and I hadn't paid my bill last month. After going through my account they found my direct debit details but they hadn't even sorted them out. They apologised and said they would take the bar off my phone. Pointed out a useful number to me though for O2 customers, send a free text message to 21202 and it sends you how many minutes and text you've got left and any extra items that have gone on your bill.

Only spent 38p on some chewing gum! :j

  • Staff Xmas Party is here! :j :santa2: :j

Got to be there at 8pm so got a bit of time yet, feeling in the xmas mood now, can't wait to go out!

Wasn't feeling so christmassy earlier, O2 still hadn't taken the bar off my phone, pohned them again and paid them £108.72 that I owed them for last and this months bills, happy to say my phone is back to normal again!

Tonight shouldn't cost too much, it's a free bar (messy night!) then back to my mates to sleep it all off.

I spent £4.75 at Costa Coffee on my break and then £2.64 on my lunch, may need to fill up with petrol later on.

Anyways best go, Merry Christmas to you all!

  • Last night was great, really feeling it today though, horrible hangover! Great party though. Was supposed to be playing football this morning but thankfully it rained too much and I could stay in bed and sleep the drink off a bit longer :)

All I spent last night was £10 of petrol to get me to my mates and then another £10 for a taxi to the venue. Food and drink was free and plentiful so made the most of it, even found a fiver on the floor on the way home, cheers!

Today I managed to watch the football. Only cost £5 to get in today, normally £18 so that was good, they also let the kids in for nothing, screaming kids for 90 minutes is not good for a hangover! Football was rubbish too so I treated myself to a McDonald's £4.46 in total.

Tomorrow I'm gonna sort out the last of the presents I need to get, should be all set for xmas then.

Hiya, how was your party? Well done on the not spending - I spend nothing today (well I went to the football too so technically I spent the money on petrol and the season ticket, but nothing actually went out of my purse!)
My football was great we won 4-0 lol so I didn't need a treat from maccy D's!
Sounds like tomorrow will be an expensive one - but then at least it will be all over till xmas!

I hope your not a Leicester fan?! :p The party was great thanks, definately one worth going too! Didn't think it helped I'd been in work since 4am that morning though.

Yeah think tomorrow will be pretty expensive, I'm off tomorrow and monday before xmas, so will need to get the food shopping in as well. Definately gonna be a busy one!

Got it in one hehe, it was a great match!
Argh I hate doing Christmas food shopping, my mum swears by going to the 24hour tesco at 2am the night before xmas eve. Apparently its virtually empty but they are restocking the shelves ready for the xmas eve rush so they have everything you need.

Glad your party was good. We had ours last Friday it was great - for some reason the past few years they have been on Thursdays which means we all have to work the next day? Sneaky way of stopping us getting too pxxxxd I think!

  • Yeah was a great result, Peterborough are a very decent side in League 1. Do us a favour though and get rid of Matty Fryatt in January, give us other sides a chance! I'm an Oldham fan so hopefully we'll be battling with you for promotion! Yeah think your work weren't being too great, thursdays aren't for xmas do's!

I'm going to my mum's for christmas so luckily I don't have to go shopping for a turkey and other similar things.

I've got over 1500 tesco clubcard points, just wondering how much that would give me? I'm guessing £15!

Off to the gym shortly, then the mad christmas shopping rush, catch Liverpool Vs. Arsenal in the pub and then relax at home!

Nooooo we have to keep him... lol we'd probably be the other end of the table if it wasn't for him and his goals! Your lot are not doing too badly though, def in with a chance of promotion!

Same here with Christmas, gotta do the rounds so it's Xmas day at my mums, then up to Sunderland on boxing day, back down to Sheffield on the 27th, than back in Leicester in time for the match on the 28th. Won't be doing much drinking I guess!

Nice one with the clubcard points, I think they are worth a penny each so that should do you ok. I've got a £3 pound voucher so far - talking moneysaving, did you know you can save your clubcards points and they will be worth loads more if you don't actually use them on your shopping? I think its 4 times as much, so your £15 would actually get you about 60 quids worth of stuff. Look on the tesco deals website. Last year me and b/f went to alton towers for 'free' twice just paid for with clubcard points!

  • Silaqui you'll probably bring in someone even better! We're doing alright at the moment in the league, just our form has been a bit off, should have battered Orient yesterday but never mind!

I thought there was someway they could be worth in terms of money, thanks for that, will have a look at the website now!

It has been a very busy day and I've still got a bit to do tomorrow. I got a computer game and a few dvd's as presents for £50.99 and a couple of dvd's for myself totalling £18. Got a few cards for family and close ones as well as wrapping paper at Clintons and Birthdays for £14.64

Went into the local Woolworths to see if there was anything there, the place has been pretty much gutted now, looks really strange and quite sad really, got a couple of albums for the car for £10.54 and a drink for 97p.

Filled my car up with petrol costing £26.60 and then bought a paper for £1.90, why did I buy that?! Finally went to the local shop and got a couple of bottles of pop and a loaf for £2.57.

Still got quite a bit to do tomorrow, need to do the food shop, been going to Aldi recently and not found it too bad, definately saving me some dosh!

Need to get my mum's present and a present for my dad's new partner and post them off, a present for my grandma also and I think I'll be ready at last. Just hope I can be sensible and not go crazy with the spending like I have a bit today!

  • Merry Christmas everyone! :xmassmile

Hope you have all had a great time and everyone is feeling in a positive mood.

I haven't updated this for a while because my laptop has been pretty poorly. Fingers crossed everything seems to be ok now!

Spent yesterday in work! Very random but was good fun and I will get paid a small fortune for doing it :D

Managed to spend money on Christmas Day but got a Big Breakfast for £1 and a couple of bottles of Diet Coke for £1.50 so I don't think I did too badly.

Having a few problems with my bank and direct debits, they're all being cancelled and I don't know why?! So I'll try sort all that out tomorrow. Got a few more bits to add from the last few days but will update that shortly!
